Please read these terms carefully before using our services or visiting our cinema.

Welcome to Magic Screen Cinema. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our cinema facilities, website, mobile applications, and all related services (collectively, the "Services"). By purchasing tickets, entering our premises, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our Services. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and such modifications will be effective immediately upon posting.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our Services, you represent that:
- You are at least 18 years of age, or accessing our Services under parental supervision
- You have the legal capacity to enter into this binding agreement
- You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- All information you provide is accurate and current
- You will not use our Services for any unlawful purpose
Ticket Purchase and Admission
Ticket Sales
- All ticket sales are final and non-refundable unless otherwise required by law
- Tickets may be purchased at the box office
- We reserve the right to limit the number of tickets purchased per transaction
- Promotional codes and discounts cannot be combined unless explicitly stated
- Prices are subject to change without notice
- You must present a valid ticket for admission
Age Restrictions
Film age classifications are enforced in accordance with local regulations:
- Valid photo identification may be required to verify age for restricted films
- Children under the specified age will not be admitted to age-restricted films
- Parents/guardians are responsible for determining appropriate content for children under their care
- We reserve the right to refuse admission if we believe the age restriction is being violated
Seating
- Seating is assigned at the time of ticket purchase
- Patrons must sit in their assigned seats
- We cannot guarantee specific seating preferences for general admission
- Accessible seating is available and must be requested at time of purchase
Cinema Conduct and House Rules
To ensure an enjoyable experience for all patrons, the following conduct is required:
Prohibited Conduct
- Recording, photographing, or streaming any portion of the film is strictly prohibited
- Using mobile phones during the screening (except in emergencies)
- Talking, making noise, or otherwise disturbing other patrons
- Smoking, vaping, or use of electronic cigarettes (cinema is a smoke-free facility)
- Bringing outside food or beverages into the cinema
- Bringing weapons, illegal substances, or dangerous items onto the premises
- Engaging in disorderly, threatening, or offensive behavior
- Damaging cinema property or equipment
- Reselling or transferring tickets for commercial gain
- Remaining on premises after being asked to leave by staff
Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse admission or remove any patron who violates these Terms, engages in inappropriate conduct, appears intoxicated, or disrupts other patrons' enjoyment. No refund will be provided in such cases.
Copyright and Anti-Piracy
All films screened at our cinema are protected by copyright law. Unauthorized recording is a criminal offense punishable by law:
- Recording devices (including mobile phones and cameras) must not be used during screenings
- Staff may request that recording devices be switched off or confiscated
- Violators will be removed from the premises and may face criminal prosecution
- We cooperate fully with law enforcement and film distributors to combat piracy
- Security personnel may use night vision equipment to detect unauthorized recording
By entering the cinema, you consent to searches and security measures to prevent piracy.
Cancellations and Refunds
General Policy
All ticket sales are final. However, refunds or exchanges may be considered in the following circumstances:
- Technical Issues: If a screening is cancelled or interrupted due to technical problems beyond our control
- Schedule Changes: If we change the screening time or date (subject to our discretion)
- Force Majeure: Events beyond our reasonable control (natural disasters, power outages, etc.)
Refund Process
- Refund requests must be made at the cinema on the day of the screening
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
- Processing time may take 5-10 business days
- We reserve the right to deny refunds for reasons outside our control
Food and Beverage Service
- Outside food and beverages are not permitted in the cinema
- We offer a range of concessions for purchase at our candy bar
- All food and beverage sales are final
- We accommodate dietary restrictions where possible (please inform staff)
- Alcoholic beverages may only be purchased and consumed by patrons 18 years and older
- Valid identification may be required for alcohol purchases
- We reserve the right to refuse alcohol service to intoxicated patrons
- Hot food and beverages must be consumed responsibly to avoid spills and injuries
Loyalty Programs and Memberships
If you participate in our loyalty or membership programs:
- You must provide accurate registration information
- Your account is personal and non-transferable
- You are responsible for maintaining account security
- Points, rewards, and benefits have no cash value
- Points may expire according to program terms
- We reserve the right to modify or terminate programs at any time
- Fraud or abuse of the program will result in account termination
- Benefits and discounts cannot be combined unless stated otherwise
Safety and Security
CCTV Surveillance
Our premises are monitored by CCTV cameras for security purposes. By entering our cinema, you consent to being recorded. Footage may be shared with law enforcement if required.
Security Checks
- We reserve the right to search bags and personal items
- Patrons who refuse security checks may be denied entry without refund
- Prohibited items will be confiscated and may not be returned
Emergency Procedures
In case of emergency, please follow staff instructions and evacuate calmly. Emergency exits are clearly marked. Do not use elevators during fire emergencies.
Accessibility Services
We are committed to providing accessible services:
- Wheelchair accessible seating and facilities are available
- Assisted listening devices may be available upon request
- Service animals are welcome in accordance with local regulations
- Please contact us in advance to arrange specific accessibility needs
- Staff are available to provide reasonable assistance
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for loss or theft of personal property on our premises
- You attend screenings and use our facilities at your own risk
- We are not responsible for the content of films screened (content is provided by distributors)
- We are not liable for injuries resulting from your failure to follow safety instructions
- Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the price of your ticket
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.
Intellectual Property
All content on our website and mobile applications, including:
- Text, graphics, logos, images, and software
- Film descriptions, trailers, and promotional materials
- Website design and layout
- Trademarks and service marks
All such content is owned by Magic Screen Cinema or our licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our Services, you consent to our data practices as described in our Privacy Policy.
Third-Party Services
Our Services may integrate with third-party services including:
- Payment processors for ticket purchases
- Social media platforms for sharing and engagement
- Analytics and marketing services
- Ticketing and cinema management systems (Veezi)
We are not responsible for third-party services, their terms, or their privacy practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Zimbabwe. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zimbabwe. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our Services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
